Update...

Well Sweet Little Zoe will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, 1 month old on Monday.  The month has flown by extremely fast.   She has come so far so quickly.  She's struggling to finish 65 ml every 3 hours at each feed (she'll eat 65-70 ml at one feeding, then 30-40 the next feeding, etc.)  They are now just letting her eat what she wants.  She's become a "grazer"; so instead of finishing 2 ounces in about 30 minutes,  she'll continue to want to eat for the next 45-60 minutes.  I really thought she'd be coming home this week because she was doing so great for the good part of the week.  She'll get there, maybe by the end of the week, next week, or sometime soon.  Right now, she's trying to get adjusted to the formula since she was on breast milk up until Wednesday (I threw in the pumping a few weeks ago).  She's pooping regularly, so we know her bowl is working! And she's starting to become more alert.  My favorite part of the day is seeing Zander smile at me when he gets up and when I walk into the NICU and see my sweet little girl turn and look at me when she hears my voice.

Our other little one turns 20 months tomorrow.  The Zman has been so sick over the last few days.  Had a fever of 103 yesterday.  I brought him to the doctor, but since there was nothing else wrong with him other than a fever, they couldn't do anything else for us.  I just wanted to make sure he didn't have an ear infection or anything else.  So he's been getting lots of jello and Popsicles.  Poor little guy.  He's been so cuddly, so I'm soaking it up right now, but I know its just because he's been ill.

I'm heading back to work on Monday.  Its going to be a rough day for me tomorrow and of course Monday.  I'm sure the hormones will make it 10 times worse for me considering most women don't go back to work until after 12 weeks, I'm going back after 4.  I've used 7 weeks already (3 of which was bed rest).  So I want the last 5 weeks to be used when she can come home (which I'm hoping is in a week or two).  My time with Zoe will be so limited daily and with Zander as well.  Trying to juggle work, Zoe, Zander, Mike and my home is going to be extremely tough.  At least its temporary.  And I know Zoe is in the best care at Children's.  All of the nurses (especially her primary nurses) have been amazing.  [So I should throw in here, all family and friends, if I don't call you back, text you back, or email you back its because I don't have time, so don't take it to heart, there's just not enough hours in the day to get a hold of everyone and I need to focus on getting my work done then focus on my sweet family]

I haven't uploaded any of the recent pictures we've taken, so I'll work on that this week.

I just put Zander to bed so I'm off to bed to catch up on sleep myself!
