Successful Surgery! YAY

This is Brittany's sister Blake, updating this for her and Mike since they are still at the hospital.  She went in for surgery around 7:30am and the first cut was at 8:45.   Around 10:30am They found out her VSD was HUGE (2x bigger than they thought), 8mm.  They didnt find any other surprises which is great! They were able to patch up the holes and her heart started up with no problems! :) YAY ZOE!!! She has a very small leak in one valve but they wont need to fix it.  She will most likely have her breathing tube in for the rest of the night and remain sedated.  Brittany and Mike should be able to see her around 2:30.  All in all it went great and we CANNOT thank you all enough for your prayers and support!! We are soo blessed to have you all in our lives and I know my sister and Mike greatly appreciate everything you all have done.  Zoe is our little fighter and she continues to surprise us with her strength!!
