5 weeks post op

Sorry for the lack of posts (facebook is a bit easier for me), but there's really nothing new to report, other than she's doing AMAZING!!!!!!!!  5 weeks post-op tomorrow.  Seriously, its gone by too fast.  Mike and I were discussing how we can't believe she's nearly 1 years old already. She's trying to cruise around the furniture.  She pulls herself up everywhere.  Since we stopped the lasik last week, she's sleeping longer through the night....she makes it till 3 or 4.   I don't have it in me to let her cry it out like we did with Zander.  I do have to start letting her fall asleep on her own though.  Right now she still falls asleep with the bottle.  But with everything that has happened with her, I really don't care.

We have a doctors appointment next week.  She'll get her 9 month shots in addition to her synagis shot (for RSV).  She's now eating table food (actually she'll grab anything off your plate).  Still smiles all day long.  She's just a joy to be around!

Mike and I are celebrating our 4 year anniversary on the 1st.  We celebrated yesterday with having brunch at the Peninsula and then walked around downtown.  We had a great time sans kids.  Mike and I have been through hell and back, and this type of situation will either break a marriage or make it stronger.  And for us, its made us stronger.  Don't get me wrong, things were extremely tough/rough, but Mike is the better half of our relationship.  We've been together nearly 9 years (January).  We bought our house in 2006, got married in 2008, had Zander in 2010 and Zoe in 2012.  I'm so truly thankful for him and all that he does for our family.  I fell in love with him all over again the day he and Zander laid eyes on each other.  Then again, when he held Zoe.  Happy Anniversary babe!
