3 Month Developmental = Great!

Well.....she did amazing at her appointment!  We met with Children's Memorial's physical therapist, nurse practitioner and neonatalogist today.  The physical therapist was extremely impressed with how strong she is, especially since she spent over a month in the NICU.  She said if we continue with the therapy, tummy time, her flat head should sort itself out in time.   You want to know what was the best part?  She rolled over from Belly to Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I screamed with joy, actually freaked her out a bit, and she freaked herself out as well.  Now she hasn't done it again since, but I couldn't be more of proud.  She's on the verge of rolling from back to belly, just hasn't conquered that just yet.  She won't stay in one place anymore, literally moves all over any area she's at.

She's 13 lbs even and 24.5 inches long. (she's doubled her birth weight...yay!)  I think little Miss Zoe is proving everyone that she's one strong cookie in more ways than one!

The nurses all loved her crazy hair and said we have one social baby on our hands.  Well, what girl doesn't like to talk?:)  I think she just has a lot to say and a story to tell!

So in a nutshell, she's right on track developmentally for her age.  We go back in August for another check up (along with cardiology and pediatric surgery).  I pointed out that she still sweats alot (sometimes we have to change her outfit two or three times a day), but again, according to the doctors, she shows no sign of distress.  She's clearly not having a problem eating:) So we just have to keep watching out for any signs of heart failure.

And here's some more recent pics of my kiddos....

A Yankee Fan like her daddy...

He loves wearing his daddy's hats (and its quite scary that he kind of fits in them?!?! big head like mommy)

I came home from work to find all three sleeping.....see Zander, yes, he was asleep on the floor! Daddy Day Care.

Shopping with two kiddos is purely exhausting.  This was one of his kind moments.  Holding on to Zoe's hand.

Tummy time at Mimi's house...

A day playing in sand, dirt, etc.  A very dirty toddler (who is very happy!)

And yes, we're at the TERRIBLE two's (who won't be 2 until July 4th), but here is a video Mike sent me with Zander having one of his episodes.....

With that, I hope you have a great week and weekend.  Hope NATO doesn't affect too much of any of your travel plans.  We have Zoe's baptism on Sunday, so we will have lots of updates next week!
