Happy May Day!

Happy May Day!  Gloomy day here in Chicago, but its beginning to get warm again.

I e-mailed our cardiologist on Monday morning asking when she thought we could introduce Zoe to other toddlers and take her places.  We got the clearance that she now can be around other kids.  YAY!  Another big step for Zoe! We just have to load up on carrying purell and be cautious so no kids get in her face too much.  Mike was overjoyed with this since he's been somewhat stuck in the house with the kids during the day.  He's been able to take long walks with the kids and take them to the park, but that's about it.  So now he can be out and about with her and keep Zander active!

Zoe is doing great at physical therapy.  Truly, I don't feel she needs it anymore, but its what the doctor ordered, so we'll continue with the therapy.  She's turning to the left just fine.  Still has a bit of a flat head, but that will hopefully fix itself in the next few months.  If we have to get her the helmet, we will (but I'm really hoping we don't have to).

Zoe turns 3 months on Saturday and Zander turns 22 months on Friday....where has the time gone.

She's giggling and laughing alot more.  She's just in awe of Zander.  Laughs at him in the tub.  Sleeping through the night.  Almost outgrowing her 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.  Will smile at you when you call her "pretty". She watches every move I make, or whereever I go.  Is continuing to grow and thrive like any other normal baby.  Each night I pray and hope this continues.  The longer we can put off surgery, the better!

Zander has his mean moments with her, but then out of the blue he will go and give her a kiss.  If she's crying, he'll run around looking for the pacifier and bring it to her and try to have her take it.  He takes her rattle and shows it to her.  He's attempted to try and climb in the crib when she's in there.  He points at pictures on our wall and says "Mama, Daddy, Baby" and then smiles when he sees himself.  He's very protective over Zoe (every mother's dream, right?)

This month will be an exciting month as my sister flies in from Dallas for Zoe's baptism.  She hasn't met her yet and I know she's dying to meet our little princess (and of course see the Zman).  Also one of my best friends is driving up from Missouri and we're having a bit of a college reunion (we try to do this a few times a year) with all the kids.

Here's our photo shoot from a few weeks ago!
